Fire!!!!!

I just gotta write this down before it slips my mind again!

Almost forgot to write how in my trip to Korea..since we arrived in the wee morning, we couldn’t check in. So we decided to go to a sauna to sleep and shower. It was quite an experience so to speak! 1stly, there were many people already sleeping in the common area. So we found a corner, with each given this hard rattan pillow, we soon fell asleep. When i woke up, i decided to wake dy up and ask her go shower 1st. SO..we proceeded to the bathrooms. Lo and behold!! It was a public bath!! Totally open concept!!! And all the women were walking around naked oblivious to the fact that they are naked!! Bo bian..we each found a corner, and i took one of my quickest bath ever!! And yes..that was where i lost my first…public bath. Hahahha this, i believe, will be hard for me to forget!

And the other day, went to Seletar Camp there to try out the infamous spicy chicken wings. The spiciness range from Level 1 to 10 in the menu, but you can ask for underground level 11 to 30! My friends who had tried level 13 before, went for level 20. I decided to go for level…dang dang dang dan…THREE! hahaha. After eating one, i felt like my mouth was on fire! And it was only level 3. When my friends ate level 20, their tears and mucus just started to flow without control hahaha. I tried a mouthful of level 20 and felt like my tongue dropped!! It was on FIRE!!!! It was sooooo hot i couldn’t taste anything else after that!! And i kept LS-ing the next 2 days..it is indeed potent. Beware, if you dare try it yourself! It was a nice place though : ). This, i believe, will be hard for me to forget too!

Refresh

Just back from my zone adults retreat “Refresh”!
It was a refreshing time, not to say a new experience as well!

It’s my 1st time participating in a “camp” haha..filled with adults. Usually, we are the ones  planning and organizing the camp with games, sessions, etc. But this time round, besides being station master for 1 event..the rest was for us to enjoy! I was most blessed by Pst’s word in the 2 sessions..amazingly, the presence of God was very tangible. Felt God so close in our midst. I was also blessed by the time of fellowship with the other leaders who were there..getting lost while driving back from supper was fun! hahaa

In 1 of the session, Pst shared on waiting on God.
Withstand = don’t run in the face of your circumstance
Anticipate = expect positive results 
Intercede = pray 
Trust = in God

So..i need to learn to wait on God. Like what Pst said, I am standing exactly where God wants me to be now, even if i don’t understand it yet.

Well, now that i’m back from my “shortest” holiday..back to reality tomorrow…-_- hahah
But am looking forward to my cg outing this sunday! Probably picnic at barrage? Can someone tell me where can we buy a kite???! Hhahaha

Privileges

Finally get to have some time to pen down my thoughts for the past 2 weeks..felt pretty long since i wrote.

It’s been 2 weeks since i started work at branch. Indeed, many new things i’ve to learn and adapt too. No matter how prepared or ready i was, the learning curve has been overwhelming. Nowadays, having lunch at 3/4plus is a norm. Knocking off work at 8plus is considered a privilege. Swarmed by the no. of seminars i’ve to attend after work.  There’s much i can list..yet i guess, God is on my side and i just need to stay positive, work hard, and do my best. Hope to be able to share breakthroughs soon : ).

My Korea/HK trip was fun! Felt so long ago already hahah..when it was only like 2 weeks back. It was the 1st time i had to pay for excess baggage!! Mine exceeded by 3kg, sue by 1kg..and the winner..dy by a whopping 11kg! hahaha it was the 1st time i bought so many things back too..probably my buyer (dy) was with me. FYI, when we go shopping..usually she’s the one who will select clothes for me to try and buy hahah hence, i seldom shop!

But it was a great trip..enjoying the 3 great Fs..fun fellowship and foooood!!! Photos be up in FB.

Nowadays, i realize i guard my private space more..perhaps because i have less time. I wish for more time with my family, my members, my friends..but well, there’s a time to play and a time to work as well.

Today, would be a privilege day i get to be home earlier..gotta prepare for my 1st solo appt tmr…dear God, i pray for grace and mercy!! Let it be good and smooth!!
