Goodbye and Hello

Goodbye 2009..feels like it ends today, because in a few hours time..i’ll be heading to HK, and will be back only after the new year.

Was reflecting upon the year..having said & done all, God is still good.
This year, somehow or rather..have been a darker Christmas. A few close ones around me went through a tough patch in relationships, Tyler falling ill..and yesterday, my ex-client from Pru inform me that his 2-year-old son passed away after a year’s fight with cancer. I went down to the hospital to pay my last respect, fighting to hold back my tears..can’t help but to pray a silent prayer for the family in my heart.

But..like i said, i believe, God is still good.

It had been an amazing year for me, as i read through my organizer..looking at the events, CG multiplication, change of job, places travelled, new things done, friendships built..it’s just been a fun and amazing journey. God had opened doors and turned things around for me in different areas of my life..and I can only look forward to an even greater year ahead.

Had a blast with my members at our appreciation CGM earlier in the day. I’ll probably regret saying this..but can’t wait to see our photos up in FB soon hahah! Pity i had to pack my luggage and rush for a party..it’s always my wish to have more time with them. Been a great journey with them, and can’t wait what God has in stored for us in 2010!

I remembered started of the year by wanting to do something new every single day..hahah obviously, it wasn’t very successful! But, nevertheless..Sharon Wan, be proud that you’ve achieved the following!

New things done in 2009:
1. Went up to Prayer Mountain, Seoul
2. Made police report/Magistrate Court/got threatened! Gees haha
3. Spend an entire day with members (gym, visitation, shopping, dinner)
4. Watched a movie in the morning
5. Went swimming with Sue & Jodie
6. Fell asleep till the bus was parked at the interchange!
7. Visit to IMH
8. Watched a movie with the boys
9. Wrote 2 songs
10. Went up the Spore Flyer
11. Went to the Mint Toy Museum
12. Fasted for 7 days
13. Washed the feet of my members
14. Changed CG name from W146 -> W515
15. Night cycling!!!!!! and i survived!
16. Had an all sisters CGM
17. Saw a double full rainbow in Japan
18. Rented a car for 2 months
19. Being a gugu (auntie), the birth of my cutie niece Amanda!
20. Went to Ubin!! Yes..it’s my 1st time hahaha
21. Showered in public! AHHHH..i’m still traumatized!
22. Sold a high net worth product
23. Won an award in Citi

Actually averaging out..i did not too bad hahah 2 new things per month!
Perhaps, to continue the tradition in 2010??

I’ve yet to sit down to think through my goals for the new year..but some things i wish to be able to do in the coming year..
– travel with my mbms..let’s start with JB? haha
– raise up 1 CGL/multiply the CG..it’s time to grow!
– earn more money..enought to bring MAD for holiday
– more free time!!
– learn diving (it’s in my list every single year hahah)
– a healthier lifestyle..sign up for gym possibly
– ….

What happens next? Shall see…hello world, in 2010!

Merry Christmas

I think dad is so amazing. He actually decorated the small tree outside our house to be a christmas tree, and it looks so pretty.

Char said…and just imagine, dad had to wait so many years for the tree to grow. Hahhhahaha true true.

Serenity, Courage & Wisdom

I’m FREEEEEEEEEE!!!! Heheheh Today marks the start of my compliance leave. Feels so good NOT to have to wake up in a shock, thinking oh no will i be late today??! Hahhah the smell of freedom is always goooood : ).

Spend the 1st half of the day packing my room, finally..it’s speck and span! Charmaine Veronica Wan..please do not mess up our room again! My whole body is aching..is it a sign of aging??

Had a Christmas Threesome..oh no, Foursome at Samy’s curry. Hahah the more the merrier! Realized we never had a formal Christmas gift exchange before and decided to do it this year! It was fun! Sexy gave me a Braun Buffel namecard holder, and Dy gave me a Tiff & Co necklace. Totally love the presents i got : ).

Dear God, give me the serenity to accept the things i cannot change, the courage to change the things i can, and wisdom to know the difference.

Giants and Hamburgers

When Char was a baby, she was so fat she has no joints.  Everybody calls her hamburger coz her cheeks were so chubby. Now you know, in case you’re wondering. Hhaaha she’s so gonna kill me!

So counting down to Christmas! And my upcoming holiday! And a brand new start to the new year!!

Roadtrip!

In about 15mins time, i’m about to set off to my roadtrip to Malacca with MAD (Mum And Dad), Char and a few friends! Been the looooongest time i last visited it, and will definitely be looking to some good feasting of “lok-lok”, chendol, bak ku teh, chicken rice ball and MORE! Oh mans..my conscience just pricked me and said are you sure??? Hahahha oh well, dieting will start when i’m back!!!

I just gotta write this down before i forget again. Was out at BluJaz celebrating Char’s bday..she was sitting beside me with this furry cushion. So suddenly, i felt a movement on my thight..but thinking it was her cushion rubbing against me…i din bother. After a while, i looked down..and to my HORROR!!!! I saw a pale white tail-less lizard on my lap!!!!!!! Argghhhh ultimate gross!!!!! Without even thinking, i fling my hand and brushed it onto the floor….my hair was standing and Nicolas din even wanna kill it for me..he said: Use what to kill?? I was like…i don’t care!! Just kill it!!! Hahha all lizards MUST die!!!!!!!

And i learned something interesting recently…do you know that this sentence: “The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog” is used to teach people how to type? Because it contains all of the 26 alphabets, quite amazing ya!

Yesterday while going home after fellowshipping with my dear CG (since the looongest time as well! So happy to spend time with them : ))..our dear Jodie was so funny. I was pointing to the 2nd floor as we drove past Taka that there’s Angus house (a steakhouse)..then after a few seconds pause, she said: Who stay there? Char n I turned immediately to each other and burst out laughing!! Hahhahhah well i guess Angus the cow stays there ; ).

Can you please pray for me? That i will not overeat in Malacca??? Very scary i’ll come back with a new lump of fat. Oh God, have mercy. Hahah!
